Alistair Kingsley had always had a relatively easy life, being the son of a wealthy business man, but despite all the good things he had in life, they lead to a different set of problems. While he might of not had to worry about poverty, his father, Dalton was more focused on work than his family, and didn’t truly love his wife or son, they were more of just things he was supposed to have, or things to help humanize the cold and ruthless business man. Despite his mother having only been a trophy wife to Dalton, Cahterine Kingsley wasn’t a stereotypical trophy wife, she cared deeply for her son, and acted much more like a stay-at-home-mom, helping cook and clean, even though the family could (and did) hire help. Catherine held a deep respect for the arts, and would bring Alistair out to see plays; like always, Dalton was too busy. Alistair went to a private school, and only spent time around other rich children as her grew up, making him very accustomed to that life.
As Alistair grew, he got into drama and acting, and aspired to be an actor. His father disagreed, but didn’t care enough to do anything about it, and paid for his classes. He became very popular, and become sort of a partier, making a lot of acquaintances, but few friends.
He went to college, getting his Associates of Arts, but stopped after that, finding school boring. HE continued to act in the Colleges Drama Department, eventually getting the attention of his eventual sire, Elizabeth. Elizabeth approached him one night, talking to him about the arts, and brought him to a secluded area to Embrace him.
After his Embrace, Alistair was stolen away from the world, and brought to a secluded house. Elizabeth was very distant, and only really taught Alistair about the Laws and Traditions of the Camarilla. He knew very little about her, and little about vampires in practice. He meet few other vampires, but did see a male Ventrue visit once, who he later suspected to be the Prince. After a year as a fledgling, Elizabeth released Alistair onto the world. The experience left Alistair partially jaded, and manipulative, as he felt he was himself manipulated.
The next year (late 2014-2015) was spent honing his hunting techniques, and trying to learn what he could about the occult World of Darkness that he was now apart of. In December of 2015, he was approached by a vampire, only known as The Messenger. The Messenger informed him, that as a neonate in the Camarilla, he had to aid the Prince in their efforts. His first task was to eliminate a rogue vampire, he was slaughtering humans. Despite not being a fighter, Alistair couldn’t displease the Camarilla, he knew enough to know they’re the largest sect of vampires who enforce the Laws and Traditions taught to him by his sire. Alistair went, and killed this vampire, receiving slight praise from The Messenger. It was from here Alistair started his path towards a position in the Camarilla.
With the next few nights, at an event his father dragged him to, he first met the Anarchs, whose goals he could sympathize with. He helped the Anarchs distract the Camarilla long enough to get some Caitiff out of town. The female Brujah said she would call him again on a later night, and left.
Alistair’s aid towards the Camarilla continued, as he got information from the Nosferatu (though he angered the Prince by copying it) and making the sewer treatment plant and the opera house Elysiums. The Prince reached out to Alistair, having him brought in for a formal meeting. To his surprise, the Prince was a woman, showing more of the World of Darkness that is still unknown to him.
Alistair’s life as a kindred has had numerous affects on his old life: he has started growing more distant from his family and friends, even getting into a physical fight with a friend. This isn’t because philosophical differences, but instead physiological ones; Alistair can no longer go into the sun, and know cannot do things during the day with his friends.
You don’t know too much about him, though you can tell he doesn’t take after his father, in looks or personality. He shows up often at company events, but it seems more from obligation than desire. From what you’ve heard at work, he is out of school, and unemployed, apparently trying to be an actor.
